The Tea Rose Chapter receiving their charter at the Annual Council Meeting in 2006.
Our chapter meets during the day and serves the needs of young mothers and older ladies who find it difficult to get out in the evenings. We hold meetings on the first Monday of each month at a member's home.
Tea Rose meetings are often used for members to share their knitting and sewing skills with each other, and several ladies have learned to knit! Our chapter's main fundraising event is at a local Christmas Bazaar, where we sell cookie and scone mixes in jars, hand-knitted tea cozies, and other items.
If you are interested in becoming a member, or would like to know more about us or our fundraising activities, please contact us.
The beneficiaries of the Tea Rose Chapter's fundraising activities include the Meridian Foodbank and the Boise Rescue Mission.
